Children's Choice Mandarin Language Immersion Program

This language enrichment program will teach children ranging in ages 2 ½ to 12 years the Mandarin language and Chinese culture. Our Mandarin Chinese instructor graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Literature, where she studied French and Mandarin. Your children will be immersed in the language through a developmentally appropriate curriculum with engaging games, music, art/crafts, cooking, tones, pictures, character symbols, etc. to involve them in the learning process. We look forward to seeing your children’s progress as they explore the Mandarin language and Chinese culture.

Alexandria Lefkovits

Alexandria Lefkovits graduated from Yale University and interned at the Yale Child Conduct Clinic and Parenting Center.  She then joined a program to teach English in China.  She had a lot of fun with the students and was thoroughly pleased by their enthusiasm for the language.  Upon returning to the US, Alexandria began studying Chinese in order to better prepare herself for future teaching positions.  She has been a mentor for young children since High School.  She joined several programs to tutor, mentor and generally work with young children.  In High School she worked for a child care program for homeless children in Newark.  She is incredibly proud to be at the forefront of this program and hopes to make a lasting impact on her students.
